Ride the Mary Valley Rattler

A true piece of local history, the iconic Mary Valley Rattler re-opened in 2018, taking visitors on a steam train journey from Gympie through to Dagun and Amamoor. The trains, tracks, and station buildings have been restored to their former glory, and you can even purchase a bottle of wine and a cheese platter to enjoy aboard the carriage as you gently travel through the scenic countryside and across the Mary River and into the Valley.
