FARMS, MARKETS, LOCAL PRODUCE

Local markets

  • Stroll across the bridge to the main street in Imbil every Sunday to the Imbil Sunday Market offering handmade bread, fruit and vegetables, plants and seedlings, essential oils, jewellery, pet treats and local crafts.

  • The Dagun Growers Markets are held every Saturday afternoon at the Dagun Heritage Railway Station. Spend some time browsing through the various stalls laden with locally grown and organic produce fresh from the farm gate, freshly baked goodies and handmade creations.

Enjoy local produce

  • Enjoy the country view and dining available from the Kandanga Kitchen café serving home grown and local food.

  • Dine at the Platform No.1 cafe in Gympie which enjoys a rich history dating back to 1881, and was recently restored and re-opened as part of the Mary Valley Rattler tourism venture.

  • The heart of Imbil township is a short walk across the bridge where you'll find the cafe, bakery, local pub and more.
